Because it is our family. This website is about remembering our deceased family members and preserving our history. The brick entrance walls were donated by Lottie Tuck Nunn. Virgilina Cemetery is located a mile west of the town of Virgilina on Highway 96. The above sign was placed at the entrance by the Virgilina Woman's Club and the Virgilina Ruritan Club. The Virgilina Cemetery was started about 1840 when Rev. Craven died. Open Air Amphitheater where Memorial Day Services are held at 11 o'clock A.M. on the 4th Sunday in May each year.
